RSS uses a family of standard web feed formats to publish frequently updated information: blog entries, news headlines, audio, video. An RSS feed includes full or summarized text, and metadata, like publishing date and author’s name. Firefox has one built in, but you can still add one such as Sage for more features. 1.Download and install Sage RSS Reader.

2. Open your Firefox browser, go to Tools – Sage.

3. Add the RSS feeds to your reader as you like. You could add it by surfing on the Internet. Sage will notify you that is has “Discovered External Feeds” if the web page has an RSS feed.

4. Select the feed, click “Add Feed” and then “Close.”

5. Read your feeds and mark them read or unread as appropriate.
