How to Check Whether Your Computer’s Operating System is 64 Bit or 32 Bit?

When downloading new applications, you are often given a choice between 64-bit and a 32-bit version. If you don’t know how many bit is your computer, here is how you can check whether your computer is 64 bit:
Step One. Open the control panel and click on ”System and security”:

Step Two. Next, select “System”:

Step Three:  Under the “System” heading, you can check whether your operating system is 64-bit:

Now you will know which versions of software to install.
