Sometimes you need to embed a document inside a document. It may be that the text describes another file and people can then directly double-click ad open that file while reading the description. There is a neat way to embed objects, such as excel sheets, within a word document.
Here is how to embed an object in Microsoft Word?
Step One. Open your Word document and go to tab ”Insert” from the top menu:
Step Two. Click on the button ”Object”:
Step Three: Select the tab “Create from file” and click “Browse…” to locate the file you want to embed:
Step Four. If you want the embedded object to be displayed neatly with an icon in the document, tick the box which says ”Display as icon”:
Step Five. Click “OK” and your excel sheet, photo or other object will be embedded within the document:
